What Is the Men's Shooting Academy?
The Men's Shooting Academy is perfect for the student that is new to firearms or just wants to sharpen their basic fundamentals and safety.
Maybe you just purchased your first firearm or maybe it's been years since you've last shot one. Don't worry, this class is for you. We will take you all the way up through the shooting fundamentals to make you a better more confident shooter. We will also cover basic range first aid in our stop the bleed class. But we aren't just gun centric, this class will cover defensive mindset and even some open hand combat where you will learn to break out of holds and create distance from an attacker.
You will have lots of fun and be able to test your skills as we run through lots of exciting and challenging drills on the range that were created to help you learn and develop your skills. And don't forget our shooting simulator, you will for sure get a chance to take that for a spin. It's been a class favorite since we started using it last year.

Get to Know Your Instructor
Todd Eccles
Todd is an NRA certified instructor with 10yrs of Handgun Instruction experience. He specializes in training civilians to become proficient and confident in the use of handguns and in the discipline of concealed carry.
He has trained with Masaad Ayoob in his MAG40 classes, At Thunderbird Academy in Kansas and on numerous occasions with TPC out of Utah.
He also runs a successful podcast and hosts a local Firearms call-in radio show.

I recently took the Behind Closed Doors class at Patriot Defense. I cannot recommend this class enough. It was by far one of the best training sessions I have had. When Todd, the owner/instructor, told me that it was a different way of shooting I was a bit skeptical. I am used to the traditional "NRA" style of shooting.
